Hand Shark SV775 Series will not operate

Cause Solution
  •  Batteries discharged
  • Charge unit
  • Dead battery (battery won’t hold charge)
  • Dispose of unit
  • The contacts between the unit and the charging stand are dirty
  • Wipe and clean dirt from contacts
  • No power in the electrical outlet supplying the transformer
  • Check the fuse or breaker. Replace fuse/reset breaker
  • The charger is plugged in
  • Unplug charger

The Shark SV775 Series motorized brush will not work

Cause Solution
  • The agitator is blocked with debris or string
  • Remove debris from the agitator. If there is string or thread wrapped cut gently with scissors
  • The belt is broken
  • Call customer service at (800) 798-7398
  • The power unit/hand vac is not seated correctly
  • Seat the power unit/hand vac correctly

Hand Shark SV775 Series will not pick up or suction power is weak

Cause Solution
  • The dust cup container is full
  • Empty dust cup container
  • The dust cup filter needs cleaning or replacement
  • Remove the dust cup filter and check for the object(s) in the air duct and remove. Clean or replace the dust cup filter
  • Unit needs recharging
  • Charge unit.

Dust escaping from hand Shark SV775 Series

Cause Solution
  • The dust cup container is full
  • Empty dust cup container
  • The dust cup filter is not installed correctly
  • Review dust cup filter installation instructions
  • Puncture/hole in dust cup filter.
  • Replace the dust cup filter

The Shark SV775 Series battery will not hold a charge

Cause Solution
  • The battery has reached the end of its service life
  • Call customer service at 1 (800) 798-7398 to find a  reputable service dealer near you. Do not attempt to change the battery
