0 (error LED on solid)
  • Fill the tank is empty
  • Fill the tank with water and cleaning solution and press CLEAN.
1 beep
  • Scooba is on a cliff
  • Move Scooba to a clear area and press clean.
  • Cliff sensors are dirty
  • Clean the three cliff sensors with a cotton swab and press clean.
  • Cliff sensors are located in the bumper and are accessed by turning Scooba over.
  • Cliff Sensor malfunction
  • Contact iRobot customer care
2 beeps
  • Scooba is stuck
  • Move Scooba to a clear area and press clean.
  • If Scooba is stuck near a Virtual Wall, move Scooba away from the Virtual Wall and press clean
 3 beeps
  • Bumper problem
  • Tap the bumper to ensure that it moves in and out. Remove any visual debris from the bumper edges and press clean
 4 beeps
  • Left or Right Wheel malfunction
  • Inspect and clean Scooba’s wheels and press clean.
5 beeps
  • Scooba’s vacuum tubes are clogged or hydro-locked
  • Remove Scooba’s bottom plate and clear debris from vacuum tubes. Replace the bottom plate move Scooba to a clear area and press CLEAN. (Note: Scooba is not intended to clean up large spills.)
6 beeps
  • Pump malfunction
  • Contact iRobot customer care.
7 beeps
  • Vacuum malfunction
  • Contact iRobot customer care.

Cause Solution
  • No power at the wall outlet or charging error
  • Disconnect the charger from the outlet and from Scooba. Wait 5 seconds and plug the charger into the outlet and directly into Scooba. If the charger light does not turn on, confirm power is present at the outlet by plugging in a lamp.
