  4. I have tried several times to connect it to wifi. It does not. I have rebooted all devices to retry and still no go.

  5. My robot is unable to empty its dust/dirt collector into the bin. I get “unable to empty debris into my dock dust bin”, even if there is nothing in the robot. For example, I empty the debris from the robot, make sure there are no blockages, set it down, hit “dock” and when it gets to the base, it says it’s unable to empty.

  6. The dust bin on our AV1110ARUS is stuck. I checked the vacuum itself and the filter compartments and all is good. I just can’t get the dust bin out. I’ve tried shaking, nothing. Can I take the back tank unit apart to free it up? Thanks Valerie Ps yes I’m pressing the release button.

The robot was slightly off the charger this morning. Not realizing, I pressed clean button and it did not start. I assumed due to needing to be charged. I hit dock and it went to position. My app says the battery is at 80% but the robot is disconnected. The robot now has no lights on. I toggled the power button and nothing. I tried to re-pair the robot with the app but still no response from the robot and no lights. The charging station is plugged in with light on. The handheld vacuum works fine. I am assuming it may be the battery?? Can I troubleshoot further before spending $60 that I really don’t have at this time?

  8. I just received the AI robot after our other robot just stopped working. This was sent as the replacement and we haven’t even been able to use it once yet! We turned it on and put it to charge, then once we had time we went to connect it and let it start mapping and the entire dock was dead, NOT the robot, the dock. No lights turn on the dock and it seems to be inactive all together, though it was working when we first plugged it in. We tried every outlet in the house to ensure it wasn’t an outlet issue, the dock just died? How is that possible? I don’t know. It no longer charges the robot. But it is extremely frustrating seeing as this is a brand new replacement for another robot that quit working. I have a normal shark lift away vacuum and I love it, but every single robot seems to only work for a short amount of time before something goes wrong that causes the entire thing to break. This is our 3rd robot vacuum. Will be troubleshooting on my day off and then calling for a refund if they cannot help me get it working again, it’s just not worth waiting for another replacement at this point. If anyone else has had this issue with the dock itself, please help.

  9. The brush is not spinning on my RV2001 robot vacuum. (As it was moving, I was able to stick my hand under it and verify). Therefore, the pet hair is just accumulating on the bottom and being drug around. Once it gets the carpet, a huge pile of hair is left. The bin stays fairly empty. Is there a way to fix this?

  14. I have RV851WV – it goes to dock and shows charging then does this little singing “do do do do do do, da da da da da da da” (6 high pitched, 5 lower then 2 higher) it’s like a little song. But I have no idea why it won’t stop. It does this over and over again. On my app it shows it is charging then “pauses” for a second which seems to trigger this song. I can’t find any information on this anywhere in the manual or YouTube reviews. Please help

  15. Shark MODEL RV1001 was unplugged in storage. Pulled it back out too set back up, but it is not responsive. Dock light turns from green to blue when vacuum is in place on the dock, let charge several hours toggle switch on/off but no response, no lights on vacuum, only dock.

  17. My RV720 charges to 3 bars. I start the robot and it only runs about 15 minutes and then runs out of battery power. I am trying to find maybe a new internal battery for the robot. Any suggestions?

  18. My motherboard was bad, so I replaced it, then it said cliff sensors, so I replaced all 4 of them and the dust bin sensor. Now I am back to the “I am too close to a cliff” again and the red light on the clean side. Because I thought maybe the bumper is the issue, I have ordered it to see if this will clear it. I do have a red light under the silver board that is directly behind the camera sensor. I have attached a copy of the picture.
I am frustrated with the lack of repair information that Shark has out there for the consumer. There is no wiring information or schematics for the consumer to review and know what each component inside does. These are not a cheap throw away item. Like everyone else we want what we pay for.  I have spent a month trying to repair this on my own, and from what I am reading is that Shark does not stand behind their products. I will not buy another Shark again because of this.
