What should I do if my Dolphin Sigma Pool Cleaner does not turn or only moves in one direction?

If your Dolphin Sigma is not turning or is moving in one direction only, consider these steps:

  • Inspect for Blockages: Check the impeller-house and impeller-cover for any debris that may be obstructing movement. Clear any blockages found.
  • Check the Filter Basket: A clogged filter can affect the cleaner’s ability to turn. Clean the filter basket to ensure optimal performance.
  • Verify Cable Connection: Ensure that the floating cable is securely connected to the power supply outlet.

What can I do if my Dolphin Sigma Pool Cleaner does not move and the red light is on the power supply?

If your Dolphin Sigma Pool Cleaner is not moving and the red light is on the power supply, consider the following actions:

  • Inspect the Floating Cable: Check that the floating cable is securely connected to the power supply outlet. A loose connection can hinder movement.
  • Look for Obstructions: Examine the cleaner for any obstacles that may be blocking the impeller, tracks, or wheels. Remove any debris that could be causing the issue.
  • Check the Power Supply: Ensure that the power supply is functioning correctly and is turned ON.

How can I resolve the issue of my Dolphin Sigma Pool Cleaner moving in circles?

  • Re-pair the Remote: If the remote control is not paired with the robot, turn it off, attach it to the power supply, and press the direction control arrows simultaneously until you hear two beeps, indicating a successful pairing.

Why does my Dolphin Sigma only clean part of the pool?

If your Dolphin Sigma is only cleaning part of the pool, consider these troubleshooting steps:

  • Check Cable Length: Ensure that there is enough floating cable released for the cleaner to reach all areas of the pool. Insufficient cable can limit its reach.

  • Contact Customer Support: If the issue persists, consider reaching out to customer support for further assistance or to inquire about replacement parts.

If your Dolphin Sigma starts and then stops shortly after, consider the following:

  • Check for Blockages: Inspect the impeller and tracks for any debris that may be causing the cleaner to stop. Remove any obstructions found.

  1. Box has power, sigma is in the water, filters are clean, green light is on, touch button, it turns blue.

The sigma blower comes on strong. It turns to the right a quarter turn, it turns to the left a quarter turn, the blower is running.

Then it stops. After a minute or so the red light comes on.

This is one year old and it did this the first year as well.
