  • Foreign objects lodged in auger
  • Stop the engine and immediately, remove the safety key or disconnect the spark plug wire. See Engine Operator’s Manual. Remove the object from the auger with the clean-out tool. Refer to Cleaning a Clogged Chute Assembly on page 24.
  • The Auger control cable is in need of adjustment.
  • Refer to Auger Control on page 16.
  • Auger belt lose or damaged.
  • Refer to Auger Belt Replacement on page 27
  • Shear pin(s) sheared
  • Refer to Replacing Shear Pins on page 24

  • Chute assembled incorrectly
  • Disassemble the chute control and reassemble it as directed in the Assembly & Set-up section
